Spectrum Drilling Tools International manufactures Split Type Pin Drive Master Bushings designed specifically for 17½” Rotary Tables used in drilling operations. These Master Bushings conform to the latest API-7K specifications.
Our Master Bushing is engineered for use in shallow to medium-depth wells and is suitable for 17-½” sizes of Rotary Tables. It features a standard taper of Insert Bowl No. 3, allowing it to handle tubular sizes ranging from 2-3/8” to 8-5/8”.

Design Features
- Spectrum’s Master Bushings are equivalent to and interchangeable with NOV Master Bushings, making them suitable for use in NOV Rotary Tables.
- The Master Bushing is specifically designed for use in shallow to medium-depth wells and is suitable for 17-½” sizes of Rotary Tables.
- It features a standard taper of Insert Bowl No. 3, enabling it to accommodate tubular sizes ranging from 2-3/8” to 8-5/8”.
- The 2-½” rise in taper elevates all slips by 2-½”, simplifying slip handling. This rise of slips ensures even distribution of load within the Bushing, reducing wear and tear on the table bore. Moreover, this taper offers 50% more slip support, enhancing the Bushing’s ability to manage loads effectively.
