The Slip Type Elevator – YC and MYC Series is are robust combination tool designed for the safe and efficient handling of tubing and pipe in drilling and well servicing operations. Equipped with four slips and reducing inserts, these elevators provide a firm, secure grip while minimizing pipe surface marking.
Both series feature a double latch safety system, reducing the risk of accidental opening during critical operations. The YC model has a rated load capacity of 75 tons, while the MYC model offers a higher capacity of 125 tons. Each is designed for pipe sizes ranging from 3.1/2″ to 7″, making them suitable for a wide range of demanding applications.
Manufactured from high-strength alloy steel, every YC and MYC elevator is rigorously load tested and magnetic particle inspected to ensure durability, performance, and safety. Fully API Spec 8C certified, these elevators deliver reliability and strength in challenging oilfield environments.
