Spectrum Mud Cleaners utilize a two-stage separation process to enhance drilling fluid recovery. This design enables our mud cleaners to handle the entire circulating volume, remove dry solids, and retain premium base fluid, which is vital for drilling success.
The two-stage process combines Desander and Desilter hydrocyclones, mounted over a shale shaker, to operate as a single unit. The hydrocyclones perform the primary separation, with the underflow directed onto the shaker screen.
Our mud cleaners are effective for both weighted and unweighted drilling fluids, helping to lower fluid expenses and disposal costs. Autobahn Mud Cleaners enhance drilling efficiency and productivity by optimizing fluid recovery and minimizing waste.
