The TA Center Latch 90° Collar Type Elevator from Spectrum Drilling Tools International are designed for safe and efficient handling of plain and upset tubing, drill collars, and casing with a square shoulder. Built with operator safety in mind, these elevators feature a double latch safety system that minimizes the risk of accidental opening during operations.
Available in sizes from 1.05” to 11.3/4”, the TA series offers load capacities of 35, 65, 100, and 150 tons, making them suitable for a wide range of drilling applications. Each elevator is manufactured from high-strength alloy steel, undergoes rigorous load testing and magnetic particle inspection, and is fully certified to API Spec 8C.

- These slips can be used in conjunction with slip bowls to fit 17.1/2″, 20.1/2″, 27.1/2″, and 37.1/2″ master bushings.
- The slips come with a taper of 4 inches per foot on the diameter, as per the API-7K specification.
- The inserts can be replaced at the rig site itself in a very short time by simply removing the locking arrangements and retainers.
